Taru-sitting

Why's your pompom red, Mr. Moogle? That would be one of Pasifika's favourite hobbies, but this time it was Donthitme who played guardian angel to a little taru for her very first fights on the wide, dangerous savannah of Sarutabaruta.

Noponena the little taru girl had been out of the city gates only once before, long, long ago to take some supplies to the brave taru who constantly guards the Sarutabaruta outpost. (Come on Bastokans, isn't it your turn to give Saruta's W.W. a break? Sandorians have already done their share... ;P) Noponena has been very careful not to get her ?-mark all messy and has mainly done quick trips between her Mog House and the Aution House. The mean Bonanza Moogle didn't think venturing all the way to the outpost was a great enough adventure, and Waah, the bunny-wunny kicked me!Noponena had to go get some *ugh* blood on her tiny hands. To prevent any further slaughter, Dhm the paladin-to-the-core-even-in-Blu-AF was called to watch over her while she engaged combat with the bunnies.
What's this glitter, I've never seen it before... :O
Finally Noponena got the required levels, and now the Moogle lets her gamble in the Mog Bonanza lottery. What an ordeal, but all is well that ends well. Most importantly, Noponena's cute little ?-mark didn't wear off yet! :D

Paler shade of blue

In a couple of weeks I should have more time in my hands, and then it's time for some adventuring after a loo~ng pause. But not quite yet.

I haven't forgotten my beloved Windurst altogether, though. I had Nakago set up pair of coloured chocobos for me, because (for unexplicable reasons) I've wanted to raise a green one. It was love on first sight, and the odds of getting a green choco from this match was said to be high. The pair spent a sport honeymoon and producd an egg in no time.

After leaving the egg in Pulonono's care, I kept checking it with regular irregularity to see if it started to turn green. The little chick was as adorable as they can be, and I couldn't resist the urge to name the chocobo right away, before I saw the final colour. Steering clear of such obvious hints as "emerald" and "forest", I named the boy chick StardustDiamond, hoping it would turn green without my guidance. Now that the choco has reached its teens, the wingtips have turned a bit too pale for my taste...

I can't complain, though. (Well, not much, anyway.) StardustDiamond is an adorable chocobo, patient about infrequent visits and missed days. It's always in "exellent condition" and frequently either very vigorous, bright or both. Always happy to see it's surrogate mothers, StardustDiamond follows eagerly both Pulonono and Pasifika for walks.
