Troublesome trio and some interludes

The Tavnazian troubles just kept taking new turns, and Pasifika tried to keep up with them. There's always time for relaxing ferry rides, though, and other interesting experiences totally unrelated to the urgent and important matters at hand...

After some information gathering and running around there was a fight with overgrown ivy, which was a breeze with the help of General Phucrabiont, a mighty paladin Cofi, and the brave Sir Donthitme. After the fight, all four took a very relaxing cruise. ^_^

The sights were beautiful and the company very agreeable, most of the time. x) Interestingly, also Tonberrys sailed on the ferry, but they were very peaceful and quiet. Hmm… Cofi seemed to be making some sort of deal with one of them, though, motioning towards Donthitme. What could it be...

The tarudin decided to take no chances and tried to hide away, but couldn't quite hide that bobbly head of his. All that was disrupting the sweet mood, so with his mighty magic Phurabiont made them both disappear, making the ferry a very romantic place for a moment... only Phu, Pasifika, and, um, Roi the Tonberry... ^^;

The two others didn't stay away for long, and Phucrabiont surprised Cofi by presenting a wedding invitation. Ahh... it will be so soon~ ^^

In the midst of all important missions and wedding preparations, Pasifika took a moment to witness a duel on Purgonorgo Isle. She had hoped to be able to remain a spectator, but after a while she was pushed into a duel with Donthitme the blue mage, with predictable results... ,-_-, In the free-for-all that concluded the event, Pasifika was defeated a couple of times more, once by the aforementioned paladin, who seemed to do a lot of damage to her with Vorpal blade even after she was defeated... o_o;

This was Pasifika's first experience about this kind of, um, games, although she has seen some Ballista matches before. It's pretty much as painful as it looks, but when done with friends, it seems like it can be a lot of fun, too. :D

In Windurst, three tarutaru children were looking for their father. The tarus called a couple of Windurstians their daddy, and the afflicted tarutarus in turn asked Pasifika to go on some exciting adventures to prove their innocence. Why not just take responsibility for your actions for once, instead of throwing an adventurer at every problem you face, huh!? Well... none of the accused tarutarus could be their father, for reasons pointed out in the wewwy scientific diagram on the right... XD

So, about the adventure... Pasifika, and incidentally also Donthitme, were told to repair a special mirror, and of course a fight with a fearsome monster was involved... Luckily the kind and powerful paladin familiar from the previous fight was also after the same monster, and a mithra ninja provided some help. :D

The fight was fierce, but that's the way fights are supposed to be...
The really interesting and unique part of the adventure was climbing up a mountainside walking on very narrow paths... Pasifika was *certain* she'd fall down at some point and would need to start over - if she survived the monsters waiting below - but all three made it to the top! :D

The mystical Cradle of Rebirth transformed the hard-earned gem into feathers, which were needed for repairing the mirror... It couldn't get much more complicated than that - but if it was easy, they'd do it themselves and wouldn't ask Pasifika to help. (Hmm.. or would they? The citizens in all nation seem to rely on adventurers for everything, from delivering messages to doing their shopping... )
With the hard part of the adventure finished, the adventurers slid down the mountainside. Whee! The way down wasn't half as long as the climb would have suggested, though...

No matter how cute tarutaru cubs might be, the three troublemakers certainly proved that taru children can be a considerable nuisance... x)
