Shantotto, the Love Doctor

Doctor Shantotto has recently traveled to distant realms.
Excuse me, ma'am... Are you lost..?
Shantotto the Great is here to save Eorzea...
 ...with the intense, burning fires...
 ...of love!

She has everyone just bursting with...
love?!?

I thought the girl wanted us to bring him chocolate, not get him arrested!?
Was this really a good idea..?
Ohohohohoho...

And this costume... is it really necessary?
Ohohohoho! You look absolutely ridiculous!
But in the end, everything is allowed in war and love... wait a minute...

Doctor Shantotto, which one is this supposed to be..?

Fashion Advice

Lina has given Pasifika some good fashion advice before:
A shirt that looks very nice AND boosts Hexa Strike? It's a winner!

This time Lina, Dhm and Nakago encouraged Pasifika to aquire an amazing (and very, very expensive) club as well as a nice melee attire - which didn't even cost any gil, just some of these new "sparks"... kids these days. It's a good thing the clothes didn't cost gil, though, since Pasifika pretty much had to sell the shirt off her back to pay for the club. All those savings...

The clothes turned out to be quite fashionable, as several people seemed to be wearing exactly the same thing. Or perhaps the attire has a very generic appearance... As Romidiat always says:
"Can you tell what kind of equipment I'm wearing? You're probably thinking that you've seen this gear before, but it could be something entirely different despite the similarities in appearance." Words of wisdom.

While the clothes are quite common, the club isn't - although there are some with similar weapons (or perhaps the very same).

Oh yeah?! Well MY spiky friend says I don't have to give you anything!

A refreshing nap

"Mercenaries are trained to sleep anywhere,
anytime if the opportunity presents itself."

Naja Salaheem

Pasifika seems to be an exemplary mercenary, considering how soundly she napped through a very important meeting of some of the most powerful beings in these parts of the world!

Someone else took some naps as well... but he soon got back up. Rarely has Pasifika fought against anyone who actually has the common sense to have reraise on... look, he's getting up again!

But perhaps all those weird events were a dream... the mission, fighting, meeting some very important people (and they though Pasifika's regular adventuring attire was good and proper enough for such a meeting - well, without her weapons)...

...getting back the crown Pasifika was awarded earlier...

But apparently it was a nightmare, after all, because there was Naja's signature engraved inside Pasifika's shiny crown. D:

Jeuno, oh Jeuno...

For a while there (long, long time ago...) it seemed like Whitegate would become the new adventurer capital, leaving Jeuno empty, but now Jeuno is as bustling as ever, if not more. It takes a good while to see all the people at the auction house... And all manner of weird and bizarre things can be seen in Jeuno. Fake moogles, chocobo eggs and younglings on the streets, weird attires, lots of naked people, people in need of teles again and again....

Here are some of the more unusual things I've seen in Jeuno recently...

A goblin on a chocobo? Nothing weird here, move along...

A wall of mages in vermillion cloaks? That's a new one, actually...

Dynamis-Jeuno... need I say more?

Archangels... they need to do some shopping too, I guess, and Jeuno is the place to do it.
No need to stand in lines, either, just a swing or two of those black weapons shoud clear the way nicely...

Excuse me, mister, since you have two of these fancy swords, you don't mind if I take just one, do you...?

!! He turned into a tarutaru...!! With tiny tarutaru weapons...

Merry Starlight Celebration

Pasifika got the wreaths from the goblins and the new event pants from the Moogles. There are more starlighty things to get, I've been told, but the Mog House is pretty full...

Happy Starlight Celebration to everyone, in any case!

My First Magic Kitty

Not much adventuring lately, but here's something wonderful Lina gave me a few days ago:

My First (WHM) Magic Kitty, mostly crafted by her loving Lina-kitty paws~
(Well, she *might* have bought some of this from a store, but she made costumes for Kitty~~~)

The costumes include Pixie (with wings!) and WHM (complete with an awesome hammer!) , but I'm itching to make a RDM costume, or perhaps BLU... too bad my sewing machine isn't working, but I guess that gives me time to perfect my plans.

It's over 9000~

Last summer the popular idol girl Mumor joined forces with Uka, the dancing mithra, and they gave quite a show - and showed what's what to that foul fiend Ullegore, too.

This year Uka started the show alone as Mumor was nowhere to be seen, but in the end the girls did the grand finale together, with stupendous results:

Pasifika and Lina of course wanted to help their colleagues (everyone remembers Lina's and Pasifika's unparalleled summer event/show, right?), but they had some materialistic motives as well... It was rumoured that combining some hard-to-get prises from the summer event would create a shining furnishing, the celestial globe: "With a gentle shake, this exquisite crystal orb twinkles with the light of innumerable stars."

The star globe Pasifika got earlier had been a bit of a disappointment - it resembles a huge coloured egg more than the stars at the Heaven's Tower - but this was supposed to be more shiny. Much more shiny!*_*

Helping Uka by cheering and dancing earned Lina and Pasifika the pretty new yukatas - which gave them access to the expert levels of the minigames like chocobo catching (but why can't Pasifika also catch mandragoras, they're so cute too... ;_;), and that gave them one piece of coveted globe - a comet fragment.

The the traditional goldfishing game also had a new stellar surprise in store, but Pasifika had little luck catching fish. Lina, on the other hand, soon caught more than she coud comfortably carry, so she gave a couple of pretty shiny fish to Pasifika~

Lina also ate some of the big fish she caugh, but isn't that what a kitty is supposed to do with such catch.

Finally it was time to cheer Uka on again (didn't we beat that Moogle, I mean Diva already? o_O) to get the cosmic designs.

After that, it was just a matter of combining the elements into a shining orb of brilliance.

So cosmic... so shiny.... *_*

But... wouldn't it take at least two galkas to pick this thing up and give it a "gentle shake", like the instructions say!? @_@

New adventures

So much has happened lately, I don't really know where to start... But I have to start somewhere, so I might as well tell about notorious monster hunting. Lina has for some time now had the ability to pop up monsters to kill her (and her friends) whenever she sits down to heal, and others seem to pop them similarily - sometimes they even mean to do it!

All sorts of things can pop up, from fierce cats to fairies, and from huge rams to tiny but deadly bunnies.

The bunny was Lina's, but what we really wanted were the rams, for this mysterious little thief:

Erzio, is that you?

Also, it's time for Adventurer Appreciation Campaign again, and we all know what that means - pretty new event dresses! :D

The Moogles had the dresses ready, but otherwise had problems with their supply network, so Lina and pasifika gave them a hand.

Are Moogles really so bad at getting things done, or are they masters at getting adventurers to do their work for them..?
This time they also had some other non-Moogle helpers to do their dirty work.

Either way, the new dresses are really cute and frilly, and the jackets for guys are equally stylish and cool~

Shielded!

Here's Pasifika's new shield.

I can't say it's shiny, because, well, it isn't...
but it should be sturdy, since it popped out of this guy.

Here's Pasifika's new Shellra V. It's shiny enough.

(Let it be known that the first merit point was used on club skill.
The three after that on the shiny.)

I won, where's my prize?

Pasifika finally reached the big 75, but the world still looks the same. :o
What now? What was it all for? What's the meaning of life?

I chose a good spot for contrast, had the camera angle ready, and I captured the elusive Merit Point! While it's not really the answer to all the questions, the very first merit point helps. Not that any merit partys would want Pasifika around, but there's almost always room for a whm and her trusty hammer in Besieged. :DJust two incredibly tough whms hanging out in Al Zahbi.

Although the hammer is taking a bit of a break, because Dhm (the living vana-dictionary) analysed Pasifika's gear and his plan for new stuff has no room for a single hammer. There are other blunt instruments of destruction, but it's a hammer only if it says "hammer"... >_>Here's my Brass Jadagna and Deae Gratia, want to have a closer look?

Deae Gratia has a nice name and some sweet stats, though. >:D

I was crafting here first, but there's room for everyone...What to do, what to do... Pasifika has been skilling up some crafts, and hanging in her Mog House lately (like she always does), but an adventure was just around the corner~

The reborn legendary tarutaru took Pasifika & friends to the moblin mazes, and it was suprinsingly nice! The name has changed, but it's really him, the taru of legends!!Kind of weird, but very nice in good conpany. ^^

There's no end to people who wonder why Pasifika doesn't do any end game stuff (like a good and proper 75 should), but I guess there's something to do now that wasn't an option before 75...

That's right, I'll go to Aht Urghan!
I'll go to where Mihli is in besieged...
And I talk to that jerk Gajaad there. :O

"Hey, you! Yes you, Pasifika, White Mage level 75!" :D

While I'm at it, I may have to see about getting the mushroom hat Dhm recommended, but it's no crown. >_>

Pasifika the queen!

*Royal /wave*
Opopp!Queen of monkeys, that is. ^^;

Opo-opo's are kind of cute in their own way, though, and this crown is something Pasifika has craved ever since she first saw it. Somehow level 65 just seemed so far away at that time (at level 14 or something? o_o;), so Pasifika didn't get the quest started right there and then.

*swoon*Pasifika did give most of her gil to that glib elvaan red mage in Kazham as soon as she had the chance, but at that time she didn't even know his fairy tales would lead her to the ultimate prize. :o He just looked like a nice guy... so polite.

Hunting down the items to bribe, erm, bring as gifts to the opo-opos was a difficult task. Breaking the durable Mithran rod took a long while (why would they want a broken one anyway?) and Pasifika had to destroy several cardians for a suitable card, but she got really lucky with the lucky egg - first crawler had one. Lina, Romi and Feliz all helped with the ancient salt, and it didnt take too long. Pasifika gathered the items one by one, until only one was missing...

Thank you for all who offered to help! After thorough preparations, Pasifika finally lead a strong party of friends to the fiery Ifrit's Cauldron to beat some Hurricane wyverns to get a wyvern skull. After an eventful trip to the wyvern's habitat, the party defeated one of the wyverns - and discovered that it had a skull. How nice! :D

Pasifika presented the bizarre and stomach-turning gifts to the recipients, and they promptly declared her their royal ruler. Long live Pasifika! :D

No need to bow so low, but do call me Princess Pasifika!
